Good Shepherd Daycare
First Baptist’s Good Shepherd Daycare believes that children are a gift from God entrusted to our care. Each child is to be treated as a gift from God that will be loved, honored and treated with respect. We strive to teach each child to respect and love God, themselves and others.
After School Program – must be enrolled in school
(For children in the 3 year old class, pre-K through 6th grade)
Time: After school until 5:30 p.m.
Transportation: Good Shepherd staff submits a list of children attending Good Shepherd to the school each day. In order for your child to be put on the bus by school staff, their name must be on this list. Good Shepherd staff must have the list to the school by 10:00 a.m. If your plans change, your child may be picked up at Good Shepherd after they are off of the bus. If your child misses the bus, Good Shepherd staff will confirm that the child is still at school and will return to the school to pick the child up. Parents pick up their children from Good Shepherd CCM.
Then What: Children have a nutritious snack, play time, have supervised reading time and have a Bible story/lesson. We also include art, science, craft, puppet, and cooking activities.
Cost: $5.00/day/child **Scholarships available
Special All Day Programs – scheduled for most days that school is not in session
(For children in the 3 year old class, pre-K through 6th grade)
Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Transportation: Parents bring children to Good Shepherd CCM and pick up them up from us.
Then What: We have a day of fun-filled activities, lunch and two snacks. Some of our more recent themes: Popsicle Magic, One Disaster After Another, Paper Me/Paper You
Cost: $20.00/day/child ** Scholarships available
Summer Program – 8 weeks during the summer break
(For children who have completed Kindergarten through 6th grade)
Time: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm; Monday through Friday; Children may come for 1⁄2 days or full days
Transportation: Parents bring children to Good Shepherd CCM and pick up them up from us
Then What: Children begin the day with breakfast and morning prayer time. Free Play is followed by lunch and personal devotions. Afternoon activities rotate and include: Summer Reading Program at local library, Cooking, Field Trips, Swimming, Art, Service Projects, Free Play. All activities are leader led and/or supervised.
